My Grandpa Kneisel is an amazing man. He and my grandma have been married since 1950 and raised 6 great kids (I love my uncles and aunts). Last October I learned that I could request a flag to be flown over the US Capitol in his honor through Senator John McCain's office. I knew that would be the perfect Christmas gift for him. Unfortunately, the 6 weeks promised for delivery turned into 6 months, but the flag recently arrived. My mom was headed back for a visit so she hand delivered the flag to him. Here are a few pictures that my Aunt Sara took while he and my mom were raising it for the first time.
