Yesterday we took a day trip to the Grand Canyon with my parents and grandparents. What a wonderful day to just spend time together. The weather was beautiful, a little rainy and cold, but such a nice change from the relentless summer.
This trip again highlighted the difference between Megan and Emily. Megan, though old enough to know how to sit still, wanted to be strapped into the stroller because we had talked about the danger of the canyon. Emily constantly fought the stroller, and when we gave in and took her out to hold her, fought the person who was holding her because she wanted down (and probably right over the edge if we had let her).
