As a mom, traditions, especially traditions with meaning, have become very important to me. Two of our "must do" Easter traditions are Resurrection Eggs and Resurrection Cookies. Both of them reinforce the real reason for Easter, our Lord and Savior dying on the cross to redeem us from our sins and rising back to life on Sunday morning. If my girls don't learn anything else from me, this is what I need them to know is true.
I especially like both of these activities because they both take us directly to scripture, and few things bring me joy like hearing Megan read from the Bible, or Emily retelling what she just learned.
